Our passion for waffle treats mixed with our meticulous manufacturing process is what gives us a great deal of experience and knowledge in the field.

Apart from loving our products and having a high-quality standard our team is also focused on family. As a family run business, we understand how important it is to give our families the best.  We see our clients and their customers as an extension of the Donsig family and as a result, we want only the highest quality waffle treats distributed to our clients and their families.

Gord Ellis, MBA, P. Eng.

President

Gord is a seasoned executive, serial entrepreneur and highly capable engineer with a track record of success spanning over 30 years.  Cofounding and holding various C-level positions in several Kitchener-Waterloo based start-up companies Gord brings a deep and broad business and innovation acumen that will serve Donsig extremely well in its continued success.

Gord is a graduate of the University of Waterloo’s Computer Engineering program. He also graduated with distinction from Wilfrid Laurier University with a Master’s of Business Administration, focusing on business strategy, strategic and B2B marketing, and finance. He maintains his Professional Engineering designation in the Province of Ontario.

Gord is a dedicated family man and is extremely proud of his son Andrew and daughter Lauren, both exceptional members of the Donsig team.

 

Andrew Ellis

Operations Manager

Andrew brings a passion and enthusiasm for outstanding customer service, carrying forward from prior experience managing retail operations and working in the service industry.  Andrew is also diligent in his commitment to quality, both in the goods we produce and in the way he manages our operations.  Having a strong team focus, Andrew strives to ensure the Donsig team continues to deliver on both focus areas.

Andrew is a graduate of the Niagara College Advanced Business Administration program.
